Open Studio Night
Every month on the 2nd Friday: The GAC education department's version of an open house: un-structured creative and social time with friends, supplies, refreshments and (sometimes live) music.

The Galveston Arts Center seeks a seasoned and professional Curator, who is responsible for providing vision, development, and implementation of a dynamic program of contemporary visual art exhibitions. The position will begin on September 1, 2016. Please go to About/Employment for a full job description and application requirements.

Volunteering is a great way to meet other art enthusiests and, in many cases, get FREE admission to classes, festivals and invitation-only parties. A Galveston Arts Center staff member will contact to confirm your committement, fill you in on the details, and answer any questions. More Information.
